$0.0225 per square inch

For example, if your finished quilt top is 60 inches by 80 inches, you will first multiply 60 in. X 80 in. for your total square inches. Then multiply your total square inches by $0.0225 to get the estimated cost for your quilting services. It will look something like this: 

60 in. x 80 in. = 4,800 sq. in.

4,800 sq. in. x $.0225 = $108

* There is a minimum quilting fee of $50. This means that a small quilt or table runner’s square inch price will be rounded up to the $50 minimum. 

Batting

You may purchase batting from us. We carry the follwing batting types:

• Quilters Dream Select 100% Cotton Batting ($0.42/in)

• Quilters Dream Select 80/20 Cotton/Polyester Batting ($0.39/in)

• Quilters Dream Bamboo Blend Batting ($0.46/in)

We will order other varieties of quilters dream such as wool for you if given enough lead time.

Binding

If you would like us to bind your quilt, we have a couple options:

• Complete Binding is $0.25 per inch. We can make and machine attach the binding to the front and back of your quilt. 

• Partial Binding is $0.15 per inch. We can make and machine attach the binding to one side of your quilt.

You can calculate this by adding each side of your quilt, then multiply that by the price. Using our 60 in. x 80 in. quilt example: 

60 in. + 60 in. + 80 in. + 80 in. = 280 in.

280 in x $0.25 = $70 (complete binding)

280 in. x $0.15 = $42 (partial binding)

Quilt Backing

If you would like we are able to piece your backing fabric, there is a $12 charge per seam. This do not include pattern matching.

Your backing fabric should be 10 inches longer and 10 inches wider than the quilt top. This allows the longarm machine head to reach the absolute edges of your quilt top, bottom, and sides. For example, if your quilt top is 60 in. x 80 in., your quilt backing should be 70 in. x 90 in.

Possible Additional Charges

If we are unable to load your quilt onto our machine without conducting various repair we will need add on additional charges per repair. 

• Repairing Seam is $6 per seam. If seams on the edge of the quilt top coming loose and need to be fused back together. 

• Fusing Tucks is $6 per repair. If there is extreme excess fullness on edges of quilt top and the waves cannot be steamed out. 

Shipping

If you do not live local we are happy to receive shipped quilts. We strongly recommend shipping in USPS Free Priority boxes or any firm box measuring around 15” x 12” x 3”. Please make sure to include your quilt top, backing fabric, and a minimum of one yard of binding fabric. Once we receive your package, we will immediately notify you by email to confirm arrival.

All Shipped Quilts will receive Free Return Shipping. We use USPS Priority shipping to return quilts. It comes with $100 of insurance and a tracking number. Please indicate on the quilt request form if you would like us to purchase additional insurance on your behalf. 

Payment

Once your quilt is complete, you will receive an invoice via email. As soon as we receive your payment, we will ship your quilt to you and email you the tracking number.
